Environment Club

< Back to School Clubs

Environment club is for Y2 children . It takes place from 3.30 - 4.30pm every Monday afternoon.

We weed, sow, plant, harvest, cook and eat vegetables and fruit.  We help with the school's recycling of paper, cardboard, glass, plastic and food. We also visit the pond area sometimes and try pond dipping in the summer. We search for minibeasts outside and find out about plants and animals on the computer. We also do some art and craft when the weather is wet.

Children will need to bring in old clothes and wellies to change into as Environment Club can be messy!
